I had an absolutely fantastic experience with Sonia at Ultimate Dedham today! Due to my poor time management and a challenging semester, I found myself in urgent need of a black chiffon bridesmaid dress with only 36 hours to spare. After calling several places with no luck, I finally reached Ultimate Dedham, and that’s where my luck changed. Sonia answered my call and informed me that they had one black chiffon dress in my size, inviting me to come by before closing time.
When I arrived, Sonia had already pre-pulled the dress for me. She was incredibly kind, understanding, and supportive throughout the entire process. I was fortunate that the dress fit me well, though it wasn’t a perfect fit and needed some adjustments at the sides. Initially, I thought I could manage, but Sonia went above and beyond by providing me with contact information for local tailors, including one that was still open late and could accommodate a quick alteration. She even guided me on what to say when I called!
Thanks to Sonia, I now have a bridesmaid dress for the wedding. From start to finish, my experience was delightful, and I wholeheartedly recommend them for anyone in need of a dress!
I was looking for a particular dress for my daughter. The Dedham location did not have it. But the Peabody location had it in a different color. We did not want to purchase without my daughter having the opportunity to try the dress on. Sonia drove to the Peabody location the same evening and called me a few hours later to share that the dress was in Dedham. The next day my daughter tried it on and fell in love with it. Needless to say it was purchased and the dress came in before the six week delivery date promised.

I had a really wonderful experience here today! I was feeling very nervous before the appointment because I thought it was going to be frustrating or overwhelming, but Denise (Diana?) was incredible to work with! Everything went super smoothly, I never felt rushed, and I had so much fun during my appointment! I really loved that Denise was not only very respectful of my budget, but I felt like she caught on to my style right away and found my dream dress! Wedding dress shopping can be intimidating but Sonia is so personable and really has an eye for this work. She has so much patience and really seems to find joy in finding the perfect dress. She made dress shopping so fun and easy. I would not have found my dress without her, (literally- I walked past the mannequin it was on and didn’t notice it, but she just knew that I would love it!). With so many beautiful dresses it ended up being more difficult than I thought to choose, but I never felt rushed or pressured to make a decision. I rented a dress for my stepdaughter’s wedding. One day before they were to be delivered, the company emailed an apology, the couldn’t honor my order. I had three days to find a dress for a black tie wedding. I called THE ULTIMATE in Dedham, and she said come now. I met “Diane” at the store and they brought me several options. She stayed with me the whole time, helped me with the dresses and tee’d up the next. One more beautiful than the next. I decided on the 4th dress I tried on. She helped me with accessories and even sent me to her Taylor down the street for a hem. They are a class act! I definitely recommend THE ULTIMATE. THANK YOU DIANE and THE ULTIMATE!
